The Ohio Association of Election Officials plays a vital role in promoting education and professional growth for both our newly appointed Election Officials and those with years of experience in the industry.
OHIO REGISTERED ELECTION OFFICIAL (OREO) CERTIFICATION
The Ohio Association of Election Officials recognizes the significance of ongoing education for all Ohio Election Officials to enhance their skills and remain at the forefront of election administration. In collaboration with The Ohio State University, they established the Registered Election Official program specifically for Ohio Election Officials.
Certification Details
ELIGIBILITY: Directors, Deputy Directors, Staff Members, and Board Members of all 88 County Boards of Elections in Ohio
COST: $880.00 ($110.00 due per class taken, 8 required to graduate)
CONTINUING CERTIFICATION: 1 Graduate-Level Course must be taken at least once every 3 years to maintain certification
